How to Display a Grid Floor in a Assembly file

Will someone please tell me how to display a grid floor in a Inventor Assembly file? I can't find the option and I have accomplished this in the past.

I use Inventor Pro 2009 and Windows 7 32 bit.

Thanks

Do you mean View>Ground Plane>Settings?

define a grid floor?

JD assumed you meant a grid on the ground plane.. (or is just pulling your leg due to lack of specifics in your question)

I assumed floor grating typically seen in industrial plants?

This would typically be accomplished by a texture image applied to that face/body

See why details/specifics are important.. Smiley Wink

Thanks for the immediate responses! Here is a video and at the end you will see the type of grid I called a floor.

I seem to remember doing this with a simple setting change in Application Oprions in InvPro 2009 but I can't find it.

Thanks!

Thats an old Application Color background.  Not sure if it is still in the newer versions of Inventor but you would change it here...its not really a "floor" though.
