How to disable fold lines when exporting flat patterns to .dxf?

When exporting flat patterns to .dxf files I currently have to either edit each .dxf file to remove the line centre and tangent fold lines, or create a sketch on the flat pattern and use project geometry and export the sketch.

I have been told you can disable exporting of fold lines and just directly export flat patterns without fold lines: "You need to set the visibility of layers in the export settings. If you save the export template, the variant will be repeated automatically."

However I can't seem to find these options.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

Hi!

When saving/creating the dxf, you can disable the bend layer (and/or other element layers).

you can also "paint" or have a different line type for each layer.

Also, after the exporting, (if you forget to disable some layers), you can delete manually the layers/elements you don't want.

(view in My Videos)

Tip:

You don't have to do this setup every time you create a new dxf, you can save the options you select to use later.

You can have multiple configurations able to select for different needs (with bends or not, interior holes, etc etc).
