How To Customise Surface Texture Symbols

I am updating some of my company's old drawings and adding them to our inventor library. On a couple of these drawings there are symbols to indicate a surface texture requirement. I can add these in inventor no problem, other than I can't seem to get the desired value where it is on the old drawing and the location of the value on the symbol is quite important for the machinist. I'll post some pictures so you can see what I mean a little more easily.

I want a value of 1.6 to be where the A is on the diagram, to indicate average roughness, but I can't seem to find how to do it.

Any help is appreciated.

Have a look at the surface texture symbols style. Check the standard refrence. some of those dont support a average roughnessvalue on that spot. You might want to set it to an other standard

Hi! Are you on Inventor 2020? If yes, you can set up Preset for the symbols. Basically, all the fields can have its own default value.

Many thanks!

Ahh of course, the style editor. I should have guessed! Thanks a lot. as a follow up, how do I change the default style? As currently I'm having to edit the default style in every new drawing I do.
