Hi everyone,
I'm working on a project in Autodesk Inventor that includes several adaptive parts. I'd like to create a copy of the entire project, but I need this new copy to be completely independent of the original — no references, no dependencies, and no relationships between the two.
Basically, I want to:
Duplicate the whole project (assemblies, parts, drawings)
Make sure changes in the new copy don’t affect the original (and vice versa)
Keep the adaptive functionality in the copied parts, if possible
What’s the best way to achieve this? Should I use Pack and Go or some other method? Do I need to manually rename every file or reset adaptivity in the new copy?
Any advice, steps, or things to watch out for would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
