Hi

I was wonder if someone has come across a How to create a 180 Tube Arc?

I have a project and I need to create a 180 degree tube bend and I can't seem to get it right.

I added an image to show what I mean, You can see a partial tube, and I need help completing it.

Can someone help me understand what i am doing wrong?

Are you using tube and pipe, or are you sweeping a profile?

Does this need to be dune with the Tube and Pipe add-in? How were you going about making the pipe originally?

If it can be a simple part, a sweep would work well.

Hi

I am adding it to a Tube and pipe run to keep all linked together. Is there a way to create it as a route in the run under the Tube and pipe run?

If you remove the elbow, and have a tube style that allows for a bend such as hydraulic tubing, you could auto route from start point to end point, then convert the auto route to a sketch. Then for you horizontal dim (say d12) you could make your rads be (d12/2) then you should get an arc as shown.

If you dont want to auto route you can use the combination of point snaps and sketch the route yourself.

Hope that helps
