I am trying to create different Style Libraries to suit different customer standards. My company does work for a number of different customers all of whom have different drafting standards and requirements. I can create different styles within the style library to suit changes between view preferences, text fonts and dimension styles etc, but when it comes to changing layer colours and line-types, the system doesn't seem to work.
For example: I complete a job for company A in the styles/colours/line-types that they prefer..... all good. The next job is for company B who use a completely different set of requirements. I switch the style library standard to the relevant company, the text styles, dimension style etc all update perfectly, BUT the layer colours remain as set for company A. I have tried to create individual Style Libraries to suit each company, but after selecting a new location - then what? (The help page is wrong - you can't accept the default location as a dialogue box won't let you) How do I tell what Style Library is current? How do I switch between each one? Does it need to be referenced in the Project File? If so - where? Is the Style Library stored with templates files so that I could save each template with the appropriate Style Library - but how?
