How to constrain sketch symbols in an Inventor Drawing

I am making some decals and I would like to use some sketch symbols for some common things that change size. Company logo, symbols ect. I would like it so that if the decal is moved on the sheet the symbols move with it. Can this be easily done? Can sketch symbols have size dimensions without having to edit them each time?

No, sketch symbols can be created with dimensions but to edit them, you have to edit the sketch symbol directly.  As far as sizing a sketch symbol, you can scale it when you place it or after it is placed.  If you create your sketch symbols to a known size that is easily linked to a scale factor, this can give you a crude dimension method. You can include decals in a sketch symbol.  One method of controlling the location and moving sketch symbols is to add connection points and manipulate the sketch symbol insertion point.  When either of these type points are moved, the sketch symbol will follow.

How do I add a connection point? The rest of the decal is a 2D sketch in the drawing.

When you are creating your symbol, pick a point on your sketch.  When you do that the "Connection  Point Grip" on the toolbar will be illuminated and you can pick it.  The insertion point doesnt have to be a point, it can be the end of a line or a circle center.

When I place symbols, I like to anchor them to existing text like you say.  To do this, I will hover the pointer around the some text until the grip appears (its just a small icon at the cursor).  When that happens press Shift+click and it will anchor and justify the symbol there.
