Hi! Please take a look at @JDMather's posting. There are a few other threads too. Basically, you need to create a feature pattern (circular, rectangular, or sketch-driven pattern of a workpoint in a part). Then reference the feature pattern in assembly component pattern.

I am not sure if this will help but maybe this old screencast I made can be useful? The only difference is I would incorporate the surface model with one of your conveyor files where in my example I had a seperate file for just the path. This method allows the pattern in the assembly to update based on the pattern in the part
