How do I orbit around a certain point?

Hi,

I'm a student getting started with Inventor, and i'm really frustrated by the fact that my model is shooting off the screen everytime when I orbit around a point, due to the static position of the center of rotation. It gets even worse when I zoom in. I know there is a way to move the pivot, but this takes time. I suppose this can be be solved quite easily, but like I said i'm still a student. I don't have a trackball or some other sort of fancy 3D mouse yet. Is it possible to set the pivot at the centre of the screen everytime you select orbital view? Just like SketchUp does, this works great by my opinion. It just rotates around the centre of the screen.

Thanks in advance.

While in the orbit command, do a long left click where you want the center of rotation to be.

(Trick:  Then if you want to display a continuous orbit, hold the Shift key down and drag your mouse to start the orbit (speed of drag determines the rotation speed, then let go.)
