How do I get an overview of created sketch?

How do I get an overview?
Is it possible to assign a label that appears when I move the mouse over the drawn elements in a Sketch?
I have a great responsibility to keep an overview of the individual parts,

Hi,

The method that comes to mind would be to, right click on the circle you want, select "Create Note" and then call that note whatever you like (Left wire, right wire etc.). An engineers notebook is now created and when you open that, each separate note will reference a piece of geometry.

Hi @steenH797P,

From your screen grab it looks like you might be doing something a little outside of the normal workflows we typically see in Inventor.... can you explain a bit more about your overall goals and workflow?

If so someone might be able to offer some more specific suggestions, but in the mean time my best guess would be to look into creating Sketch Blocks in your sketch (assuming the sketch is in a part file, rather than a drawing sheet sketch).

I hope this helps.
Best of luck to you in all of your Inventor pursuits,
Curtis

Almost like you want to add leaders in your model sketches?

Or maybe like pdfs, adding flyout popup notes?

If that is the case, other then creating a drawing identifying what you need, then maybe iLogic to do this?

Other then that, there is nothing presently.  Maybe input an idea in the Inventor IdeaStation

Not a popup, but you could assign geometry text to your elements...?

@steenH797P you can name each parameter and then have the title show based on the Document Settings as Named or Expression.

That would probably lead to the best Inventor workflow anyways.

@steenH797P

My question is (since I read your posting two-ways)....  Are we talking about a sketch in an Inventor drawing or at the part (or assembly) level?   Its hard to tell by your clipped image.
