How do I export an FEA mesh?

I'm in the Stress analysis environment but can't find anywhere that I can export the mesh prep.  It's a lot easier to do the midsurfacing in IV than Femap.  So I'm trying to do the mesh prep in IV and export but can't find anyway to do this.

See if the "fmsh" extension file created for your component (and saved near the folder of the original component) can be used. You can see where it is saved under Tools (tab) > Links > select the .fmsh and check source.

Hi! This isn't supported in Inventor Stress Analysis. You will need to use Inventor NASTRAN.

Many thanks!
