Home screen for Inventor is blank after windows reroll update 24H2

Hello all,

After the windows 11 update 24H2, Inventor 2024 crashed regular. After some research, Autodesk has not yet fixed the issue in Inventor 2024. The temporally solution is to reroll that update. Our IT department rerolled the update and we are now in 23H2. But sadly, the home screen is now blank. But for the rest, we can still use Inventor.

the issue is still there. In the support page it is said that the folder; C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Inventor [version]\WebBrowser is missing. But the folder is still there for me and a colleague so that seems not to be te problem.

Does anybody of you have any idea how to solve this?

Hello All,

Fortunately, we were able to find the problem ourselves and fix it.  When starting Autocad it gave the warning "Unable to run AutoCAD. A dependent component Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime is missing or you don't have sufficient rights to run AutoCAD. If you have sufficient rights, install the missing component or reinstall AutoCAD."

After downloading the MicrosoftEdgeWebview2Setup (https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2/?form=MA13LH) and running it as an administrator, autocad worked again and the home screen in Inventor is back to normal.
