HOLES ON PROJECTED POINTS

This isn't letting me select the points.  I tranferred them onto the part as projected geometry in an assembly.  Why doesn't "On Point" let me select the points?

Thanks

on sketch works.  I believe on point is for a "workpoint" only.

By the way - there are two types of Sketch points - Points and Center Points.  Inventor Hole feature will recognize Center Points automatically.  Sometimes when you Project Geometry you get Points rather than Center Points.  These can be window or crossing window selected and toggled to Center Points in upper right corner of sketch environment ribbon.

Sorry,  my intention is to save other people time answering it.  Are you employed to hang out here, just curious?
