Ever since I updated to Inventor 2024 (from 2023), I've been noticing these purple "hidden constraint lines" that lock my cursor onto certain points. I do remember this being in 2023, but not to the point where I was barely able to not be locked onto all the points on my sketch, including midpoints and their perpendiculars. I've tried disabling the constraints entirely in application settings, but this did not fix the issue. Is there a setting I am missing, or is this a new update I'm just going to have to bear with?
Hi! I believe this is controlled by Sketch Constraint Inferencing option. Go to Tools -> App Options -> Sketch -> Constraint Settings -> Inference -> uncheck "Infer Constraint."
