Hi everyone, I am a student who uses Autodesk Inventor PRO 2014 in my Tech class. I decided to download it on my PC at home, but got the 2016 version instead. I started doing extra credit...but when I went to school the next day, I realized that the parts and assemblies I mad weren't compatible with the 2014 version. So my question is: Is there any way possible that I can convert an ipt file and/or an iam file from 2016 to 2014 Autodesk versions?

Not directly ...

You'll need to export them as a  step/sat them out and reopen them in 2014. You'll lose your IDW's if you have any

You can still get the 2014 student for a bit more ...I would get it while you can so you don't risk this again.
