Hi All,
Firstly, my apologies if this has been posted before, but I've been doing some digging on the internet over the last few days and now I just need to get the problem solved as it is a time-sensitive issue.
Please can someone offer me some help? I'm still relatively new to Inventor (coming from 4-5 years on Solidworks experience), and I've been trying so set up bespoke drawing template sheets for our GAs and Part drawings at work.
I've been watching various video tutorials (including this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mo5k-rQIjPw ) on setting up title blocks for the bottom right corner of our drawing sheets. Attached below is a rough drawn sketch of what I want ourtitle blocks to look like:
With reference from the screenshot below of what I've been working on in Inventor so far is; do you have to reuse the "STANDARD" title blocks that are originally on the drawing template sheets, or can I completely start a brand new title block as I have started to (above the "STANDARD" one that I have Denoted "NEW" for the purpose of my explanation). The thing is, I won't let me drag and drop any of the text boxes from the "STANDARD" title box and drop them into my newly drawn title box. So if anyone could advise me on how I start populating the "NEW" title block, that would be perfect.
I appreciate this may well be easy stuff, but it's been giving me headaches over the last few days so I thought I'd ask the experts 😉
As always, your advice is greatly appreciated!
Kind Regards,
Les
