From what I have seen Generative Design is essentially a 3D sketching environment (think napkin sketches, not Inventor sketches) that must still be interpreted and reduced to MCAD Models manually.

All of the main-stage presentations I have seen at AU skip this step and show automagically produced final part after showing matrix of generative design "solutions".  The in-between step is not demonstrated.

Am I missing something?

Is there an automatic process that I am missing, or does it become a manual process after review of generative design "solutions"?  (OK with this, but it seems to be completely hidden in any presentation that I have seen to date.)
