GD&T symbols

Hi everybody,

i started to use Inventor and i'm trying to use geometric tolerances. I have a problem with GD&T symbol, when i select one of them the software doesn't show it. As you can see in the picture Inventor shows the tolerance (50) and the datum(A) but not the position symbol. Can anyone solve this problem?

What version of Inventor are you using?  This almost looks like a graphics problem.  What are your computer specs and what kind of graphics adapter are you using?  Are all drivers up to date?

I'm using Inventor Professional 2019. At the moment I've an integrated graphic card because my old one stop working, so it could be the problem.

Now I'm waiting for a new dedicated graphic card, I will try again  as soon as I receive that.

Thank you for the help.

Depress the position tolerance button and select a different symbol.  Does that one show up?

If so, edit the feature control frame and see of you can get the position tolerance now.

What version of the software are you using?

Couple of possibilities with this issue:

1. The install path was different from what the software expected/anticipated and it can't find the font.

2. The AIGDT Regular font was not installed. Inventor uses a GD&T font that contains the symbol characters.

Check the installed fonts to see if it is there. If not, then the font needs to be installed. If it is installed, I'd be inclined to say it is an install path issue.

I have this exact issue. i tried installing the font in the folder according to the official autodesk solution, C:\Windows\Fonts.

I also tried reinstalling inventor completely, neither worked. I am running windows + inventor on the same drive (:C).

@Bill_Bogan1 When you refer to install path issue, what do you mean exactly and what is your proposed solution?
