Frame Generator Material

Hello dear community,

I've came across with this problem:

We use beams made from different materials (S235JR/S275JR/AISI 304L/etc), if placed from Content Center there is no problem, we choose the material and everything is correct. The problem is when we use Frame Generator, we choose the beam and the material, but is always the same profile that shows (in this case S235JR), the physical properties are correct, but the description is always S235JR. 

It can be seen in the Screencast attached.

Do we need to create separated beams with different materials?

I see the same thing.  In a test case, I inserted an equal angle, ANSI Steel.  During placement, I selected Titanium as the material.  In the iProperties, the Physical characteristics and Mass properties reflect the change to Titanium, but the part number, stock number, and description still reflect the original Steel designation from the Family Table.

I have run into the same thing, but what I did was change the G_D "Designation column in the family table to add my material up front so the users can see it. I believe what you are running into is it is just selecting the first one. I have been running a vicious circle trying to get this to read what I wanted, and kind of just gave up when it was close. I was informed that the "size" section was kind of hard coded and was based on keys, but this is what I did to get it to work.

When I changed the G_D columns, it altered how members were place using FG an automatically changes material:

But when placing from CC, it will then have the material in front of the description, because if I use any other columns as key columns when placing from CC it will always then add them to the size when placing as FG.....Its annoying. I have been meaning to put in an Idea to make the users have control of what is placed in the "Size" of FG.

So, it was partially solved adding the type of material to the G_D, as you can see below: 

But now i face another problem with BOM, if i use two different profiles it doesn't separated them, just show *varies as seen below:

Shame on me, it was the part number... It was the same for all profiles.
Now it's working.
