Frame generator : End treatment

Why is it that if you construct a frame based on a skeleton, and then add end treatments to the frame members (miters, notches , etc...), and then afterwards edit the geometry of the skeleton....the frame won't update ? ( seems to want you to remove the end treatments for the frame to update to the new skeleton geometry )

Is this the way it was intended to function ^

Not applicable
Probably was major discussion of retaining adaptability on the end
treatments. It was probably dropped to speed up system performance and
stability. Much the same as adaptively in the normal environment.
