Format jagged cut edges in IDW

Hi .

I would like to use jagged edges in my section views more often. but what i have currently happening prevents me from doing it. My jagged edges are quite big and spread, and it looks sloppy on top of notbeing functional. It is not even close to the image as shown in the Inventor help file -->  https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/inventor-products/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2017...

is there a way to format "jaggedness" of the line so it looks more like in the help file?? What controls the jagged line?

@Anonymous as far as I know that is a current limitation.

Hi! Another option is to use Smooth option as opposed to Jagged.

Yes i have just come upon this limitation.
really makes jagged edge pointless.
selecting smooth on a section view just gives a straight line which can be confusing.

That's not an option.  The smooth version is confusing as the cut-off point looks like object lines; the break out area isn't clear.  The only option I'm aware of is to use the smooth option, then do a "Crop" of the area, then edit the crop sketch and manually draw jagged lines in the crop area.  This is a huge burden.

Jagged boundry really is pretty worthless.  The scaling uses no logic it appears.
