Force in stress analysis

Hello, I've done some research and I didn't find a clear answer on that question. When I use a force and than click on the surface where the force act. Does the force act to the center of the face or is the force equally distributed on the face. ?

...perhaps I should add - the Face as defined by the B-rep.  Make sure you have Shaded with Edges turned on.
