Flush constraint fail

Hello.

Can somebody help me to figure out what is worng with constraint or my asembly?

1. Flush constraint added to assy.

2. Checking distance. And we see that Z axis shows some distance. And how that can be?

I know that number is very small, but it really pisses me off...

Thanks!

Hi!

I don't have the same behavior as you.

In my case flush gives-me the z=0

Check if you have this option on and disable it:

Check if your flush as an offset in it.

Hello, thanks for answer!

Try higher precision: 8,12345678. With your precision I have 0 mm too.

Option is turned off.

IMO the issue is born in the original assembly, not the STEP.

Two ways for fixing:

- Pattern the fixed sub-assy

- Right-click on misaligned sub-assy-> iProperties -> Occurence -> Set z to 0.

Which version are you using?

Have you all service packs installed?

By the way ... why are you using all that precision?!!

In real world.... for these kind of assemblies, why do you need such thing.

But I have the same offset in STEP model, not only in assy.

The last one, R3 update 2017 Inventor Pro.

Of course I don't need such precision, I said about that in my last sentence of a very first post. I just randomly clicked on that precision and saw this, and it's pissed me off)

Hah, btw you're right! In the occurence tab there was that offset...really strange, cause every cyclone filter was get from one master multibody model and all lefthanded (don't know why while exporting it to step model every cyclone becomes righthanded)  types were misaligned with offset of that number.

Thanks a lot! My nerves are safe!
