Flex Token and multiple Inventor Crashes

Hi all.

I switched to the AEC but have to use Inventor professional for some projects. Thought, Flex Tokens are a good idea - 24 hours etc.

But actually Inventor 2023 (all updates installed, graphics update etc. etc.) crashes this often that I have spend more than 2 days in total only for solving the issues which make Inventor crash... and it continuous to crash 😞

My question: Is there any way to get tokens back if the program is crashing again and again?

I mean beside the tokens, it's also my work time and time is money...

Hi!

The main question would be... why Inventor is always crashing.
Do you have issues in the models (Red cross active)?

Do you have enough space in C: disk to use as temporary memory?

I see two main issues here, first being the tokens used.  For this issue, I think I would start with contacting Support, to try to get some sort of resolution or answer.

For the crashing problem, we may be able to help here in this forum.  I think first we would need to know a bit more about what you are doing when you experience these crashes.  Can you share some more details about what workflow you are attempting when this happens?

Hi all.

I had several crashes because of problems with constraints/dependencies. Funny was, that when I saved the assembly, all was fine. After opening again, I had the red cross and many problems caused by constraints. And when trying to solve it, Inventor crashed as mentioned...

The only way to solve was to create a new empty assembly and importing the the "under assemblies" step by step... Maybe it was also a problem caused by adaptivity.

Anyway, project is finished and billed. 😉
