Flat Patterns Dashed Lines

Why does it do this?

This has happend many times over the years, but with 2017 pro, it seems like any new flat pattern I create does this when placed on a drawing.  I have to go back into the flat pattern and redefine the alignment, and then it shows up ok after that.

Anyone else have this?  This is so very annoying.

Attached are some images and the parts.

Thank you!

I have been having this exact same problem lately. I have to open the part, go to the flat pattern, go back to the folded part, save it, close it, then go back to the drawing view, make it raster, then make it precise, then it works. A bit of a PITA.

Good to know it's not just me! Does anyone have a solution to this?

@chrisw01a,

Did you try this suggestion by chance?

I just ran into this issue, and tried the rebuild all and it resolve it for me in Inventor 2017, I was curious if that resolves in 2018 also.

I hope this helps.
