Hi, I have some problems with Flat Pattern after creating Sweep fo full length of sketch. If I chose only arc part of sketch, everything ith correct. I think the problem is becoause of line on external face which was created in Base componend while using thinken of Loft command. How to solve this problem ?
Hi! The behavior is certainly wrong. Flat Pattern should either fail or work. It should not create bad geometry. If I understood your intent in Part3.ipt correctly, you were trying to make the detail faces perpendicular to the sheet metal faces, right? There is a better technique than Sweep. You can use Thicken -> uncheck Auto-Blending -> Intersect -> Distance = Thickness -> pick the outside faces. You may need to repeat the process for inside faces. After that, the detail faces will be perpendicular to the sheet metal faces.

Hi, not at all. I want to make a partial chamfer with both edges. I solve my problem using Partial Chamfer and Sweep. Solve is not completely correct but enough for my needs. Flat pattern works correct now. In Partial Chamfer there is no one very useful think such as constrain with external edge, point or surface. I mean that you don't need manually show or enter the distance of chamfer, you only choose the geometry you need to be constrain.
