Flashing lights on the inventor studio

Does anyone know how can I make a video in studio inventor using flashing lights. Example: The image below first it flashes red, then yellow, then green.

Can I do it in the studio inventor?

I have illuminated one of our substation models with color changing lights for a beautification project in town.

Station sits right smack in the middle of upscale condos & apartments so they wanted to make it either disappear, or highlight it somehow.

I built a light fixture with a rotating color disc which I controlled using positional reps.

Within Studio, I created a local light within the fixture.

I positioned several of these light fixtures around the perimeter of the station then within Studio, animated the positional reps to get a color changing effect.  The effects were realistic enough to determine where the lights needed to be placed, and their respective intensity.

Here's a shot of one of my renders, and an actual photo of the completed lit station for comparison.

Here's a link with some photos & video of the completed project.

Yes it can be done in Inventor.

Light, trasparent materials, inventor studio enviroment, all of this require an intermediate knowlodge of the software and may be require sometime to set the scene, materials, animation and render (quite a lot in this case). There is no quick way in this case.

The key commands are these:

12.jpg

You have to create your lights, posionate them. Then animate them, controlling their intensity (or position) in the animation.

Here you will find some info
