Fixed Distance

What is the function of this?

So ...if you zoom your part out ..so it's small ..and you set the Fixed distance ...and you move around in the screen... then click the house it's zoom that far out and back to the area/angle of the part as you set it.

If you do fit to zoom.. It zoom in to fit the entire part /assembly to the screen on the angle of the cube you set it..
