File Transfer between Inventor and SCIA

Hello,
I am working as an Intern using Inventor and SCIA(Structural Analysis Software). In our company we first develop the model using SCIA to check the strength of profiles using EuroCodes and send the DWG file along with steel profiles to design team. Our design team rebuilds the model in Inventor 2016 using NavisWorks and the DWG file from SCIA considering the Steel profiles. As we need to develop the model twice, it´s really time consuming for the company.

My question: Is there any way to directly open the 3D model from SCIA(.esa File) and directly proceed with further design or even Viceversa(opening the 3D model from Inventor in SCIA and proceeding with Structural Analysis)

Eagerly looking forward for your inputs(Infact this could be my future Thesis Topic!!) :)

Regards
Akhil

What file types does SCIA import?  STEP? ACIS? IGES? DWG?

What file types does SCIA export? STEP? ACIS? IGES? DWG?

@Ruffy85 of course I am interested, but I only have the .stp files. Right now I work only with SCIA software and do not have access to Inventor!
