FG PFC notch custom profile missing

Hi all

I am using Inventor 2020. 

I was expecting to have the custom notch profile for PFC as it already exist for "I" profile beams.

Now I have already set all my frame elements but I don't want to notch them manually.

What would be the easiest way?

Hi! I am sorry if I misunderstood the issue. Did you publish the custom profile to Content Center? Is the particular standard included in the Content Center Library?

Try this simple workflow. Go to Content Center and try finding the Custom profile under Steel Shape. Is it there?

It is not a custom profile beam. It's a BS4 parallel flange channel.

I was talking about the custom notch. From 2020 you can customize the notch simply when you use the notch tool (you don't have to set the custom library etc.) I thought it was possible for all the beams, but I am discovering now it is not available for the PFC profile.

 in 2020 is available only "I" custom profile. We are working on other types. If you are interesting you can Sign In to our Beta forum https://feedback.autodesk.com/welcome/ to see more information & try new upcoming features there.

Anyway I'm not sure this would be considered a solution. 

The fact that Autodesk people  "are working" on it, means that there is not a solution yet.

Hi! I marked Roman's posting as a solution. The notch custom profile is a new feature currently available on Inventor Beta to test. Please feel free to try it. The new feature will not be available on current or prior releases.

Yep - it's been here a while.  Not sure exactly which release, but on reading some of the comments above, I guess it was around Inventor 2021.
