Are you talking about this:
https://apps.autodesk.com/INVNTOR/en/Detail/Index?id=9172877436288348979&appLang=en&os=Win64
Compatible with:
Unfortunately not, I am looking for something similar to 'coolorange' It is where you make a feature in assembly and you can migrate it so that it reflects directly onto the relevant part. They producers of this plug-in are not making one that is compatible with Inventor 2021, so I'm looking for something similar that is available.
For Cool Orange .. I would reach out to them ...
I went onto the page where the plug-in is available and there they have left a notification that they won't be making a version that is compatible with IV 2021.
Can you share it?
How complex is the model you're wanting to use...
You're importing it right ... what about doing it in 2020 ... then saving it up to 2021?
Well the model is not really complex as much as there is a lot of steel work involved, I generally use the feature migrator to migrate holes exactly.
I already uninstalled IV 2020, so I won't be able to use that methodology...
Thanks for all the suggestions though, it is much appreciated!
Can you share a screenshot of it?
You can install 2020 again... with a subscription / even student you can use the current version ( 2021) and 3 prior .. so you can use 2020 / 2019 / 2018 still as well.
I see, i will have to check with our IT guy when I can re-download it, they're quite stringent on data usage.
Find attached screenshot of the assembly I used feature migrator on most predominantly.
Gotcha...
Are you changing their models?
yes at this point, the assembly in the screenshot could have multiple changes made over the next few weeks. So the feature migrator would make the workflow a lot smoother for me.
