FEA Mesh/Automatic Contacts error 'internal error: regularization failed'

Hi guys,

I am trying to run an FEA analysis/drop test on a barbell with weight plates on one side. I have set up a dynamic simulation (correctly I think) but when I export it to FEA and run a mesh or automatic contacts, it gives me 'internal error: regularization failed'. 

I have tried to rebuild all, change the meshing, making different barbell geometries with no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This error message indicates that there is some issue in the geometric pre-processing.
Could you upload the .ipt archives? (We can't open an assembly without its parts)

I can mesh your design supressing the emboss features!
