My Inventor crashed as i was changing materials to a part. Now the Favorites tab in Materials is empty, and i cannot add to it all the materials that were in it before. I am using a modified version of the Default project (just added sub work space folders). Please help. Will provide additional information if required.
The FavoriteMaterials library is located in the folder C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Inventor 2015 folder. If is not there, it may have been corrupted during the crash. You might check to see if you have a copy from an earlier Inventor version (2013 or 2014) that you can salvage. You may have to migrate it to 2015.
No, this seems to just add another tab to the material lists. if you select a material and right click, go to add to, there is not option to add it to favorites. this is even after a complete reinstall. Twice. any ideas?
