extrusion problem

Hi every body,

In the attached ipt file, I have tried to extrude the circles as {cut} but it didn't work as per th attached picture. May I know where is my fault.

Your circle shows up as construction geometry (dotted) in the sketch shown in the picture. Construction geometry, per definition, cannot be used to create features. Click on it - in sketch mode - and change it to active geometry. There is a "construction" icon that lights up (or not) depending on the geometry you select.

Uhmm, what are you going to cut - there is no solid geometry in the file to be cut.
