Exporting all bodys in an .ipt as stl's

Hey there

Often times I draw smaller "assemblys" of 2-8 parts in a single .ipt file with seperated bodies. With this low number of bodys its sometimes just easier to create it like that. When I want to export these bodies to seperate .stl files I have to hide all bodies but one, export as stl and then repeat for every body. Is there a way to make this process less time intensive?

Shift + RMB -> body priority

RMB -> hide others

Eksport

RMB -> all visibility

Repeating the cycle

Alternatively:

Derive out the bodies to the parts in assembly

Eksport to STL -> Options -> Structure -> Multiple files

Hi!

You can turn the multisolid into an assembly and get the solids separated as independent part files.

Yes option 2 definetely helps. I usually did it via hiding all other bodies but that workflow annoyed me so deriving an assembly and exporting from there is okay. Thanks.
