Export Step files to solid part

I'm trying to export those step files to solid parts.

Unfortunately I only get a part from which I can't change the material or anything.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

If I'm understanding what you're looking for, you may want to google "inventor feature recognition". I believe that is what you want. Otherwise, I'd use the step file and redraw the part from the ground up so that you can change it however you like.

EDIT:

After looking further into the step file, you'd also want to make sure that these surface models are turned into solids (if you are concerned with materials). You'd do this by ensuring that the internal volume is fully enclosed and then using the "Stitch" command to turn the closed volume into a solid. I don't believe feature recognition would work once you've done this though. All the same, this does seem to be a standard/purchased part in which case I doubt you're looking to change it dimensionally.

It is unclear to me exactly what you are trying to do.
Did you really mean that you are trying to Import?

Can you give more information?

Step-by-step your design intent and goals?

Attached are the files. For weights look at the Stucchi documentation.

Great! that's one step forward. But now I would like to have it as a part. And not an assembly.

Is it somehow possible?

I tried to use the ''derive'' tool but then i can't change the color of the part. it stays in the ''funny'' colors.

In step import options, check the box Import Assembly as Single Part.

After you derive as a single solid body - right click on the solid body and select Properties.

Click  the Clear All Overrides and you can change it to whatever color you want.
