I know that if you create a snapshot previously to start making tweaks and camera movements, then you will be always able to update easily the drawing when making changes in your exploded IPN file.
The problem I'm having s that Inventor 2017 allows you to elaborate the IPN file without creating any snapshot. Once you open a drawing file and try to place a view, the following message appears: "No snapshot view exists in the source IPN file. Click OK to automatically add a snapshot view in the IPN file. The automatic snapshot view is based either on the current or on the default IPN scene."
The problem is that after clicking OK, no snapshot view appears in the Snapshot Views Panel, so it is not possible to update anything. Also, the view in the drawing does not update automatically.
