Hello,

Is it possible to turn off objects in inventor from excel data sheet? I mean not hide, but turning off, and it should be possible to turn back.

Thank You

There's not a direct toggle or anything.

This is from memory as i'm not at the office to verify, but....you can pass parameters from excel to Inventor not visibility. However, you can have a value, say PartOn and have it set to 1 in excel. Pass that parameter to Inventor vis the xls file.  In Inventor - in an assembly, you can right click a part and choose properties. There is an option there to suppress the part 'if'. Set that to look for property PartOn. If it's 0, suppress it. If not, it's on.

I'm not sure if there's a comparable setting in in a part file, but at worst, you could still pass the parameter and use ilogic to suppress the feature.
