Every strange pipe & tubing problem.

When I save a pipe and tubing file, the parts are saved but not the route file. So, when I open the file again, the pipework looks like crap.

From the screenshot below, you can see the assembly is saved. The parts under that route 34 are also saved. Anybody had the same pproblem?

I've never seen where the route file does not save, if you are saving the run in the right context.  You need to be at least at the level of your Master Run (Tube & Pipe Runs.iam) to save.  Are you using Vault and checking things in and out?  COuld an old version be overriding?  Are your pipe runs constrained at every level? Maybe you're accidentally dragging the route and it's moving on you?

 

Just trying to think of things that might mess you up....

I'm not using vault, but I think there is something wrong with the server.

All my T & P runs get saved in a Folder inside my work directory. The folder usually gets the name of the Parent IAM file. Possibly you have issues with Permissions on your server and creating new folders.
