Errors When Assembly Placed as Subassembly

Hello,

I am difficulties placing a working assembly that operates properly without errors into a blank assembly as a subassembly that is flexible. While the assembly works by itself, as soon as I place it in the model and set it to flexible, it begins to show mate issues and the mates break. The only mates I create between the subassembly and the new parent assembly is between the origin planes of the subassembly and the origin planes of the parent assembly. I recorded my screen to show what is happening.

Does anyone have any idea what would cause an assembly model that is running properly to fail as soon as it is placed into a blank assembly?

Here is a video showing the issue (https://youtu.be/lr3JdTkdsoQ😞

Thanks,

Spencer

Hi! This could be due to lack of a grounded component. Find a logical component that will not move and ground it. If it still does not work, please share the files with me directly johnson.shiue@autodesk.com. I would like to understand the behavior better.

Many thanks!
