Error on Inventor Exit

Hello,

I and several other people in my department often get the following error when exiting Inventor:

I tried searching around a bit but couldn't find anything. It doesn't seem to have any negative effects other than having to click through a couple more things before closing. Has anyone run into something like this?

Thanks!

What version of inventor? Latest Service Packs installed? Is vault being used? Is it every time or with certain files? Hardware? Video card qualified?

Looks to me as if an Add-in is not exiting gracefully.  Do you have any purchased or custom add-ins running?

Hi! The dialog indicates Inventor Connect Add-In is having issue. There are two options you can try. It looks like an install issue. You could simply disable Inventor Connect Add-In (go to Tools -> Add-Ins -> Inventor Connect -> uncheck two Load boxes). Or, you can do repair install to see if it works (Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Autodesk Inventor Professional xxxx -> right-click -> Uninstall/Change -> Repair Install.

Many thanks!

Thank you all for the suggestions. I do not see an Inventor Connect Add-in. I will attempt a repair on the installation on Monday morning.

I'm running Inventor 2017, version 4.2.0 on Windows 7. It does happen every time I close. Along the lines of it being an add-in related issue, I may try disabling some add-ins and closing to try to pinpoint the issue.

Hi: you need to right-click and select "Show Hidden Members" to see the Inventor Connected Design addin. If you are not using Inventor Design Shares, as Johnson suggested, uncheck the Load Automatically box.
How do you exit Inventor, for example, File->Exit Autodesk Inventor, or select the X in the upper-right, or by some other method?
Do you have any documents open when you Exit Inventor?

Thank you and apologies for the inconvenience.

@Anonymous were you able to disable some of the add-ins to get the message to cease?
