Error in RSe Stream (4 not equal 0)

Hi guys, I was working on an assembly (Inventor 2015 SP2) on Friday. Worked all day, no problems at all. I closed it and opened another assembly, did some modifications and drawings then went back to the original assembly I was working on and now I get that error. I rebooted and still get the error. Any ideas?

I've searched older posts and see a lot about file corruption and some people were able to get into the file and delete the corrupted component. However I can't open the file at all. I'm int eh process of opening each part individually to see if I can track down the problem part but so far no luck and I'd rather not have to remake the entire thing if I don't have to for obvious reasons. Look into the old versions folder of your assembly file.  That folder will be located in the same directory/folder as your file.   You may be lucky and get the last saved file without the issue.

  I tried that on Friday as some googling showed that as one of the possible fixes but I get the same error when trying to open the old version of the file unfortunately  -_-

If you can open all the components of this assembly with no issues and not the top one...  Most likely you will have to rebuild the top assembly.  When you get these RSE Stream errors there's not much you can do.   However I will tag @johnsonshiue to see if he can assist you.  He is from Autodesk and will request your dataset.

I went and opened the individual components and they all opened just fine including the minor assemblies within the major assembly. I'm working on just rebuilding the entire thing now.

Hi John, yes the error happens every time I try to open that specific assembly file. I can open all the parts of the assembly individually and everything is fine. I've actually spent the better part of today redoing the whole thing so it's not a pressing issue anymore. I needed it done today for some reviewing by others. Thanks!
