I created an Eng. notebook entry in an assembly and when I go to add an arrow it acts like it is supposed to during creation but once you click done it disappears until you mouse over it.  See video..

I could not reproduce what you are showing in 2015 or 2017.  What update are you at in 2015?  I am at 2015 SP2 Update 6.    I would suggest to apply all the updates you can find and post back if it still does it.

Does it do it if you don't end the arrow on the right side of the border (dashed dotted line)?

Hi! The behavior does not look right but I could not reproduce it on 2015 on my machine. Could you try something for me? Go to View -> User Interface -> uncheck Marking Menu. Now, try the exact workflow. Does it work?

Many thanks!

@karthur1 - I am on 2015 with all the current SPs & patches.

@johnsonshiue - I will work on trying your suggestion today and will let you both know what happens.

I had one of the other Designers try it on their machine and it worked fine, so that is why I am a bit puzzled.

Thanks to you both for your responses.

It didn't work.  I still get the same results.  I wonder if it is a glitch with running 2015 on Win 10?

Hello Breeze104,

I tried it with my Inventor 2016 + Windows 10 and it works. As you are wondering, Inventor 2015 isn't supported for Win 10 but could you please check if you are using certified graphics hardware and driver for R2016 from here.

If you are not using certified one then please update driver to the latest one.

Also please try the followings.

・Remove a content of %temp% folder. (There might be unremoved file in there)

・Run the Inventor as Administrator with RMB.

・Set User Account Control of Windows to "Never Notify". (Reboot the machine)

・Reset Inventor setting with the reset utility from here.

Thanks.
