Edit Dimension not working

I'm at my wits end with a very simple problem and was hoping you might be able to help me.

I am not able to edit my dimensions! The weird part is that I've done many many part files in the past with my inventor program and have always been able to edit my sketch dimensions simply by double clicking them. I took a 6 month break from using the program and just recently started using it again. However this time around after I place a dimension it will not allow me to edit it. Can you think of what the problem may be? I've gone to application options and selected the edit option under settings for the constraints. Do you think it could be a bug related to a windows update during my hiatus?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Hi! The behavior does not sound right to me. Please use Inventor Reset Utility to reset all settings. Go to All Programs -> Autodesk -> Autodesk Inventor Professional 20xx -> Tools -> Inventor Reset Utility. If it does not work, please record a video (screencast) showing the behavior.

Many thanks!

Hi! It sounds like something modified the registry. Are you running any non-Autodesk Add-In or any program interacts with Inventor? Do you happen to use Factory Design? I would like to find out how it happened.

Many thanks!
