I have a DS that is giving me the "over-constrained" error. I cant figure out what I need to do. Tried all sorts of joints, but nothing I tried has worked. One problem that I am having is the clevis needs to stay in-line with the cylinder rod through out the travel. There is a Insert:3 constraint that does this, but when I go to DS, I get the over-constainted error. If I suppress it, then try to add joints in DS, I still get the over-constrained error. When you drag the clevis in DS you can see how the clevis stays in line with the cylinder. But, with the over-constraint, the output grapher wont run.
Also when I run the simulation, I would like the clevis to move only .75 in from the cylinder to simulate the stroke.
I am trying to determine the force on the cylinder thru its range of motion. I have calculated this by hand so I know what it should be at certian points.
