Dynamic Pattern in sktech or feature

Hi

I am looking for a way to make a pattern either in a sketch or a feature. The pattern needs to be kind of dynamic. What i mean by that is that when the pattern makes more of the grid it needs to make it fit in the angled area in the picture below:

The end goal is to control the amount of grids when the diameter increases.

Patterns can controlled by formulas in either sketches or features..
