Drawing View Labels

Hi

Is there a way to link the drawing views to the item number as per the parts list.  I have a large assembly of pipework and one parts list for the assembly.  Then I show a detailed view with dimensions of each pipe special/item on the same and other sheets of the same .idw.  I want to make the "View label" the same as the "ITEM" (item number) of that part as reflected in the Parts list.  Part numbers doesn't work for us as every pipe does not have its own part number.  it is perfectly ok if the View Labels update when the parts list is shuffled/revised.  I just don't want to manually update the view labels all the time.

Any expert out there please?

I suspect you would need to write some customization, like the ilogic code like in the below link.
