drawing view is corrupted

I have a view that seems to have gone corrupte, (although a new view of the same works fine)  The other problem is it has section views that I also lose if I delete it...  To make matters even worse, I did the drawing once, saved as 2 other drawings and replaced model references with similar assemblies, the same view is corrupt on all 3 drawings...   basically a lot of work if i have to delete and redo thes views

Corruption seems to be - 

1.  I can not dimension centreline thru the PCD of a set of holes

2.  I can not angle dimension centremarks on holes

3.  horizontal dimensions appear tilted like its on an isometric view

a new view the same sorts it, i tried view rep changes, view orientation changes and back, trying one of the drawings on another machine

which view is the issue ..I was able to dim' on them all and they look good

EDITED ... nevermind I found the drawing you're having an issue. We'll need the IPT for sure to do anything

heres the dataset with the ipt's not the idw's...

how do i delete the previous dataset?  I cant see an edit option

Hi Stephen,

Please make sure to check General Dimension Type setting on each view before dimensioning. You can access it in the context menu when view is selected. Dimension command takes current setting and creates Projected or True (Iso) dimensions based on it. The culprit view has this setting set to True. True dimensions don't support dimensioning center marks and centerlines.

If I try and dimension the line in red, then I get the curved dim, it's picking off the chamfer line.

If you're trying to get a dimension off of the centermark you added, you won't be able to. You need to make it in the sketch mode to get it.     I did update the orientation on the view, and it updated. I picked the face to be truen to the area round ISO Corner Castting note.

Thanks, this is a solution that gets me out of a hole...

But if you drop another view the same onto the sheet and do the pcd of the holes you can dimension it on either setting so there is something wrong with this view and any views or sections taken from it

thanks, normally you can dimension a centre line pcd, or dimension the cl to another edge to pick up the centre of the pcd, just not on this view...
