Drawing Tree Doesn't Show Model

We have several drawing files that have lost the model in the tree, associated to the views. This has happened to several drawings in our Vault, and is for all views in the file. Visibility and transparency are still able to be toggled, when selecting the part on the sheet with part priority, but find part in browser throws the attached error message.

So far, the only solution I've been able to figure out is to copy the base or projected view, and remake all balloons. notes, etc. Any section or detail views need to be manually recreated as well.

Has anyone run into this issue before? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much,

Ben

Never seen this before, but try View (tab) > Reset UI Layout.
Is this drawing saved in the same version/year as your current Inventor? Perhaps a version/year ahead?

Thank you for the response. They appear to all be the same version (2021), which is what we are still using. It seems the Reset UI Layout function was introduced with 2022, so I don't have that option.

Hi Ben,

The behavior does not look right to me. It seems that the browser nodes were corrupted or hidden by API (maybe)? Try copy the entire sheet from this drawing to a new one. Does it work better? If not, please send the files to me directly johnson.shiue@autodesk.com. I would like to understand the behavior better.

Many thanks!

Thank you very much, copying the sheet to a new file worked. I was also able to copy the sheet from the new file back into the original file, and it seems to be working again, as well.
