Drawing Text Kept Normal Until Reaches Text Box Width Then Squish Stretch Fit

Hallo,

Hello, Is there a way to adjust the font width (one-line text) to a certain length? I have e.g. a length of max. 80 mm available for the text. Within this length now different names should be written. The text width should decrease only if the text would be longer than the 80 mm. For shorter names, the text width should remain normal (DO NOT stretch)! In AutoCAD this works.   I would be very grateful for an answer!

Hi admaiora,

thank you for your solution. That's very good for long text.

But is it also possible at your solution to keep the text width by 100% when you have only 2 or 3 letters?

At the moment the text width will increase to 500% or so...

When the text is very long the text width can be reduced to 80% or what ever is needed.

Hello @Julian_Kolb I see that you are visiting as a new member to the Inventor Forum.

The best thing to do would be to vote up this idea:

Smart Fitting Text

I have forwarded the request for development to review as I too have a desire for this function. Thanks!

Here for this. Would be nice not to have to babysit the title block if the title is too long or too short for the limited space they go in.
